Orchha

Orchha is a historical town and a municipality in Tikamgarh district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The town is located on the banks of the Betwa River and is known for its rich cultural heritage and historical monuments. Orchha was the capital of the erstwhile princely state of Orchha and Bundelkhand during the 16th and 17th centuries. The town is famous for its palaces, temples, and chattris (cenotaphs) built during that time. Khajuraho

Khajuraho is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, known for its group of Hindu and Jain temples. These temples were built between the 9th and the 12th centuries AD during the Chandela dynasty. The temples are famous for their intricate carvings and sculptures, many of which depict human and animal figures, as well as gods and goddesses.

The temples are divided into three groups – western, eastern, and southern. The most famous temples among these groups are the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, the Chaunsath Yogini Temple, and the Matangesvara Temple. The temples are also known for their erotic carvings, which comprise a small percentage of the total art, but have made the temples a major tourist attraction.
